Stop by and visit the Reading Safari Book Fair in the Board room.

We are already off to a great start with terrific sales from last nights curriculum night activities. Thanks to all of the parents who stopped in last night and were very generous with their purchases. Remember all proceeds go to purchasing Library Books and other items for the LRC. If you missed last night The Book Fair will be open for another week, and it will again be open during the Jr. Hi curriculum night.

A very special Thank You goes out to Mrs Esfahani, the Book Fair Chairperson, and all of the parents who have volunteered their time to help make this years Book Fair a Success.

Thanks to the fantastic show of support from all of the Pennoyer families the Pennoyer LRC will be able to purchase many much needed reference, fiction and non-fiction books this year. All of the Pennoyer families, staff and friends helped to make this year’s book fair, The Reading Rain Forest, a great success! The children are the big winners, of course, and will continue to be rewarded when they read the books purchased for home or the classroom which were donated by so many of our generous parents. The book fair was operated and organized by Mrs. Mary Doherty. A very BIG THANK YOU to Mrs. Doherty for a wonderful job well done.

A special thank you to all of our parent volunteers, without whom we simply could not have had a book fair: Lucy Barone, Sharon Blazek, Josephine Biondo, Jeanine Bucholz, Maryjo Carbonara, Terry Cercavschi, Roseann DiVenere, Michelle Esfahani, Kristy Koran-Wong, Margie Kuczak, Shari Loutos, Terese Luedke, Karin Magyar, Joyce Mazurkiewicz, Anoinette Nardulli, Lisa Nixon, Michele Pagone, Janet Rossi and Heather Saadstedt. A special thank you to Sharon Blazek for all of her guidance, advice and hard labor, and to her mom Judy who came to help at the evening events. A special thank you to Jeanine Bucholz, who worked everyday with Mary Doherty. An event like this would simply not be possible without the efforts of the many volunteers who make so many things work around here at Pennoyer.

I would also like to thank the teachers and staff here at Pennoyer for all their help and understanding as we had to move around a few schedules so all the students would have a chance to visit the Book Fair.

Thank You,

Mr. Galiotto and Ms. Bernatowicz
