Thanks to the fantastic show of support from all of the Pennoyer families the Pennoyer LRC will be able to purchase many much needed reference, fiction and non-fiction books this year. All of the Pennoyer families, staff and friends helped to make this year’s book fair, The Reading Rain Forest, a great success! The children are the big winners, of course, and will continue to be rewarded when they read the books purchased for home or the classroom which were donated by so many of our generous parents. The book fair was operated and organized by Mrs. Mary Doherty. A very BIG THANK YOU to Mrs. Doherty for a wonderful job well done.

A special thank you to Jeanine Bucholz, who worked everyday with Mary Doherty. An event like this would simply not be possible without the efforts of the many volunteers who make so many things work around here at Pennoyer.
I would also like to thank the teachers and staff here at Pennoyer for all their help and understanding as we had to move around a few schedules so all the students would have a chance to visit the Book Fair.
