The Book Fair is starting and now is the time to find a few books to help that emerging reader become a proficient reader. Or maybe your looking for that perfect mystery to fill up your reading

Feel free to drop by and purchase a book for your child’s classroom, the Teachers are busy creating Wish Lists of books they may want, or feel free to donate a book of your choosing.

Please feel free to stop by during either Open House:

Thursday September 14th at 6:30 PM

Wednesday September 20th at 7:00 PM.

Also check the schedule that was sent home with your child to see what day they will be going to the Book Fair with their class, it is usually during their Library time.

Also a GIANT Thank You to all the volunteers who make this Book Fair a success.

The first week of school is almost over and I have just now had a couple of minutes to sit down and write in this blog. Before the year started we had a teacher in-service where I showed all of our teachers how to use this blog, hopefully all of them have begun posting and will continue to do so throughout the year. The response from the teachers was positive and I have already had a few of them come back and ask questions on how to add things or make changes to their blogs, I see this as pretty encouraging and I hope the rest of them start adding to their pages soon. I have a class coming in now so I have to go but I will be back soon.
